Pete Gonzalez QB Academy
Pete Gonzalez played four seasons (1994-97) with the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. In 30 games he completed 262 of 492 pass attempts for 3,532 yards and 35 touchdowns. Pete was a three time letterman at Pittsburgh. As a senior he completed 198 of 345 pass attempts for 2,657 yards, 30 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Pete's 30 touchdowns led the Big East and was second all-time in school history behind Dan Marino’s 37 in 1981.Pete eclipsed the Big East single season record of 25 set by Boston College’s Glenn Foley in 1993 and ranked first in Big East passing with 241.5 yards per games while throwing for 200 or more yards eight times. Pete set a Pitt single game record vs. Rutgers in yards and TD's completing 27 of 42 pass attempts for 470 yards and seven touchdowns. Pete earned 2nd Team All-Big East.
Currently, Pete works with High School Quarterbacks and Receivers throughout the Western PA area. His ability to relate to the kids and his knowledge of the game has made him the most sought out Quarterback trainer in the area. Scout.com recognized Pete’s impressive work with local youths.
In addition to his Coaching, Pete is an Entrepreneur with business interest in Oil and Gas and financing. Pete married his College sweetheart Mandy; they have 3 children, Londynn Rose 5, Peter Jaden 3, and Camdynn Rose
